My Biography
I have over 10 years experience as a Registered Dietitian doing outpatient education mainly for a large HMO.Being a Certified Diabetes Educator I am extremely well versed in the needs of a diabetic, as well as in the management of Gestational Diabetes. I have educated and motivated thousands in efforts at weight loss, and I am my patient's greatest fan and motivator. I also currently provide instruction for those undergoing Bariatric surgery, a relatively new field of expertise. Being cerified as a Personal Trainer allows me to incorporate physical fitness into the overall health and fitness goals of my patients while helping them to tailor a personal fitness plan that works for them. I am also very passionate about the nutritional needs of pediatric patients, specializing in weight management, Failure to Thrive , and those who are dealing with eating disorders.
